Conarpesa’s core business is the capture and processing of wild shrimp, carried out through its own fleet and land-based processing plants. Founded in Argentina in 1977, the company was a pioneer in Patagonia’s fishing industry.

Today, Conarpesa stands as the world’s leading exporter of wild-caught seafood and the top exporter of Argentinian wild shrimp.

With four processing plants and a workforce of over 1,000 employees—along with many more indirect jobs—Conarpesa is one of the largest sources of employment in Patagonia.
